A biophilic staircase installation that integrates MEW-printed scaffolds and plants into an interior architectural space. The project explores how plant-supporting micro-structures and parametric scaffolds can bring nature into buildings, improving well-being and creating a living, breathable interior environment.

A computational landscape project using evolutionary algorithms to re-shape terrain at Machu Picchu. The work analyzes slope, runoff, and elevation, then generates landform variations using algorithmic geometry. Physical CNC models and seeded experiments explore how ecology reacts to digitally altered landscapes.

An AI-assisted furniture project transforming machine-generated chair concepts into real, buildable designs. Using CLT wood and Shou Sugi Ban finishing, the chair is simple to assemble, durable, and modular—four units can transform into a bench or table, blending AI exploration with hands-on craftsmanship.

Environmental Design

ocean nexus

A modular, biomimetic coastal barrier system designed to reduce beach erosion along the Côte d’Azur. Inspired by mangrove roots and honeycomb geometry, each lightweight unit decreases wave energy, slows water flow, and encourages sand accumulation. Built from bamboo, cork, and floating cement, the system is movable, repairable, and deployable by communities without heavy machinery. Ocean Nexus offers a sustainable, adaptable alternative to traditional hard coastal defenses protecting shorelines while preserving public access and natural beauty.
